Product Manager (Active Search!)


Summary:

The purpose of this team is to drive the strategy and direction for inpatient and outpatient utilization management as well as seamlessly integrating and automating a technology enabled screening guideline on a modernized platform. As the Capability Manager, you are responsible for the strategic and tactical planning of development necessary to meet the business needs within Medical Management which aims to improve the efficiency, cost and outcomes of providing efficient utilization management and oversight. The result will improve the experience of this client's internal UM users, partnering providers and most importantly, our members. As the key liaison between the business and technical teams, your analysis, documentation and communication skills are critical to exceeding your customer expectations and establishing and driving the product road map.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements
- Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems
- Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
- Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
- Translates concepts into practice
- Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues
- Coaches, provides feedback, and guides others
- Acts as a resource for others with less experience
- Responsible for full product life cycle management
- Able to leverage market insights to understand market/customer needs
- Accountable for delivering product performance against expectations
- Accountable to P&L
- Partner with internal or external stakeholders to define and drive future product direction
- Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed
- Works with less structured, more complex issues
- Serves as a resource to others

Qualifications:

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with healthcare, managed care and/or health insurance data analysis, business operations, or application development
- Deep understanding of ICUE and current capabilities and limitations, along with their drivers
- Expert ability to clearly articulate problems
= Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
